C2GRT v2 W2D6 + W2D7

4.5 mile ruck/dog walk in 68 minutes, plus 77 push-ups and 43 clean and press. I skipped Saturday, Sunday, and Monday, so I’m counting that as my R&R for W2D7.

I took Percy out for a good distance today. He had a blast and was out in front for nearly the entire time. Coming back along the main road was a bit scary for him, he didn’t like all the big trucks, but we managed to keep a pretty good 15 minutes/mile pace over the whole 4.5 miles. Today was supposed to be a run, but walking the dog felt like a better idea.

After I cooled down a bit, I did two, 2-minute sets of push-ups and clean and press (CAP): 46 push-ups and 22 CAP the first time, then 31 push-ups and 21 CAP the second time. For a minute I thought about continuing sets until I had 100 push-ups and 50 CAP, but based on the time it took me to cool down afterward, I’m glad I didn’t.

The scale tells me I’m down to 179 pounds.
