3.1 mile ruck/hike to find a geocache, which we did!
You know those times that, completely out of the blue, you remember something you haven’t thought about for years? That was me remembering geocaching this morning. We had occasional fun back in West Virginia going geocaching, but there weren’t a whole lot of caches in total, which kind of put a damper on the experience.
Right about now Sally will be chiming in with an entire list of places that you can go geocaching in West Virginia. Organized by difficulty and ranked by time required, probably. But in any case, I remembered geocaching exists and was blown away by the sheer volume of caches nearby. There are hundreds of them.
So, 56:29 and 3.1 miles later (the kids are slow), we’ve added another cache to our list and I’ve added another three miles to my ruck distance.
I am making a workout list right now. No excuses, just didn’t do it earlier.
