Time for the second round of C2GRT! I’ve got my first GORUCK event in two months, I’m living in a new place, and I’m ready to get going again!
Today’s movements were a 1 mile jog/walk and one round of max sit-ups in 60 seconds. I’m following a mix of the PRT Conditioning Program and the desconstructed 6 Week Plan, in an attempt to build up slower than dropping right into the 6 Week Plan. My legs were shot after a few weeks the last time I did this, so I’m hoping a slower initial ramp will help.
About an hour after this morning’s exercise the only thing going through my head was that I never should have let off the gas. I should have dropped down to a “maintenance” pace and kept working out at least two or three times a week. Now I’m starting all over again.
I need to get new shoes. Soon. These ones are worn out.
