Okay, scheduling conflicts and such make things less fun than I’d like. I didn’t get to ruck even a little bit, today, but I will be going tomorrow morning.
On a positive note I saw a video on YouTube that talked about the “40% rule” of the SEALs (and likely many others). That is, your mind will say you’re done at about 40% of what your body is capable of. Now, in many cases that’s a good thing, as your brain is stopping you from actually damaging yourself in the long term, but the concept will be interesting to explore after I’m built up to a level where I can take advantage of it.
Week 4 adds some sets that will take too long to complete entirely before work, so I may need to get creative with timing.
