Walking is man’s best medicine.
I love getting under my ruck. I managed to complete just over 2 miles in 30 minutes (4 mph) with a dog in tow. My wife joined me with her own dog and completed about 1.25 miles. My legs hurt from yesterday, especially right underneath my glutes, but it’s a “making progress” pain that is actually kind of encouraging.
My wife made an excellent suggestion to shift my workouts into the normally dead 45-90 minutes I have between dropping the kids off at school and starting work. That should result in less potential for interference from all of the things that inevitably come up.
Tomorrow will be my first real test of fasting to avoid nausea.
I still need to pick up more base layer pants.
